Nairobi Nights

Romance Novel

Page 1

Simon sat on the bus, his eyes half-closed as he gazed out the window at the bustling streets of Nairobi. It had been a long day at work, but he was grateful for the job. He was part of the booming real estate industry that was transforming the city, and he felt lucky to be part of it.

As the bus stopped to let more passengers on, Simon noticed a woman getting on. She was beautiful, with long curly hair and a bright smile. She scanned the bus for a seat and found one next to Simon.

"Is this seat taken?" she asked, pointing to the empty space next to him.

Simon shook his head. "No, it's all yours."

"Thank you," she said, settling into the seat. "Long day at work?"

Simon nodded. "Yeah, you too?"

"Definitely," she said with a sigh. "I work in real estate too, actually. It's a busy time."

Simon's heart skipped a beat. He couldn't believe he'd met someone who shared his passion for the industry. "Me too! What do you do?"

"I'm a project manager," she said, extending her hand. "Fiona."

"Simon," he replied, taking her hand. He couldn't help but notice how soft her skin was.
