Generations

Drama Novel

Page 1

The sun bathed the streets of New York in a warm morning glow as the city came alive with the hustle and bustle of another day. At 8 am, Celeste, clad in an immaculate all-white ensemble, glided through the crowd as if she were an ordinary person. Her smile radiated like the morning sun, captivating everyone in her path.

It had been five mysterious years since Celeste vanished from the public eye, leaving behind a trail of confusion and speculation. As the premiere of the tenth season of her groundbreaking reality show, "Generations," loomed at 7 pm, the city was abuzz with anticipation. Nobody had expected to see her again, especially not on the day the world would tune in to witness the next chapter of her reality saga.

Stopping by the local bakery Bluemoon, a now-famous tourist attraction thanks to the show, Celeste's presence sent shockwaves through the establishment. Greg, the owner, stood frozen behind the counter, his eyes wide with disbelief. It was as if Celeste had just stepped out for a moment and returned without missing a beat.

"Hi, Greg," she greeted with a casual familiarity, her voice smooth and composed. The words hung in the air, leaving Greg speechless. Before he could gather his wits, she continued, "I'll have the usual, please."

The usual for Celeste was a blueberry muffin, now named after her, a testament to the bakery's newfound fame. Greg mechanically prepared the muffin, his hands shaking with a mixture of astonishment and confusion. Celeste paid without another word, the exchange more surreal than any plot twist in "Generations."
