Eustace Windsor marched into the small, cramped office of housing rights activist Alina De Medici, his face twisted with anger. His expensive suit was rumpled, and his normally immaculate hair was in disarray. The night before, his brand new apartment complex had been vandalized, and he was certain that Alina and her group were responsible.

Alina, a petite woman with dark hair and sharp features, was seated at her desk, surrounded by her staff. They all looked up as Eustace stormed in, their expressions a mix of apprehension and curiosity.
