Chuka and Amara had been rivals since they were children. They grew up in the same neighborhood in Lagos and attended the same schools. From a young age, they were both highly competitive and ambitious. They constantly tried to outdo each other in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. They had a love-hate relationship, always trying to one-up each other.

As they entered university, their rivalry only intensified. They both studied engineering and were top students in their classes. They competed in every academic contest and sports event, and their names were always at the top of the list of student leaders in various clubs and organizations.

One afternoon, Chuka and Amara found themselves alone in the library, studying for an upcoming exam. They sat at opposite ends of the same table, each with their respective textbooks and notes spread out in front of them.
