The moon hung high in the night sky, casting its silver glow upon the rugged landscape. Shadows danced among the trees, their twisted forms stretching across the forest floor like specters of the past. 

I, stood at the edge of our camp, the fire crackling softly behind me as I gazed out into the darkness, my mind consumed by thoughts of the future.
